Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience performing estimator responsibilities
• Experience reading construction plans and sourcing vendors
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word; Bluebeam preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing cost estimates for small projects or defined scopes
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost calculations using estimating software
• Review plans, specs, and contracts to understand construction requirements
• Gather and analyze historical cost data to support estimates
• Compare subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and pricing
• Coordinate with senior estimators and project managers on scope and bid strategy
• Attend bid reviews and site visits to observe operations and refine estimates
• Maintain and update cost databases for material, labor, and equipment costs
