Qualifications

• Experience reading construction drawings and sourcing vendor quotes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing cost estimates for small projects within larger scopes.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost calculations using estimating software.
• Review plans, specs and contract docs to understand requirements.
• Gather historical cost data to support estimate development.
• Compare subcontractor and supplier quotes for coverage and price competitiveness.
• Support standardizing estimating processes and document best practices.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to request quotes.
• Learn company estimating processes and tools (On-Screen Takeoff, Agtek, HCSS).
• Attend bid reviews and site visits to inform estimating strategies.
