Trueline in Maine is seeking a Paving Estimator to join our team and deliver accurate, competitive estimates for roadways, parking lots, and municipal projects.

You will review plans, perform takeoffs with tools like Agtek, Stack, and HCSS, and price materials, labor, and subcontractor costs. This role requires 4+ years of estimating experience in paving or heavy civil, with strong math and communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Paving Estimator

Trueline is seeking a Paving Estimator to join their team in Maine with a well-established heavy civil and site development contractor. This role is focused on preparing accurate, competitive paving estimates for public, private, municipal, state, and federal projects while working closely with leadership, operations, vendors, and subcontractors.

What You'll Do as the Paving Estimator:

• Prepare paving estimates for roadwork, parking lots, municipal projects, commercial sites, and related scopes.
• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to define paving scope.
• Perform takeoffs and quantity calculations using tools such as Agtek, Stack, HCSS, or similar platforms.
• Price asphalt, trucking, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and supplier costs.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to understand job conditions.

This Position Offers:

• Base salary roughly $90,000-$150,000 depending on experience.
• Vacation package negotiable based on candidate fit.
• Company vehicle or vehicle stipend of approximately $245/week plus fuel coverage.
