Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Screed Operator (Paving) to join our heavy civil construction team. You will operate asphalt paving equipment and support milling operations across mid-Atlantic sites, following safety protocols and supervisor directions.

The role requires 2+ years of equipment operating experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding work on site. Competitive benefits and a strong safety culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment such as asphalt pavers and rollers is required.
• Must have good hand/eye/foot coordination and safe operation mindset.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, and related equipment safely.
• Discuss daily plans with field manager and determine best methods to complete work safely and on time.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning; monitor fluid levels and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with crew to achieve daily goals and ensure safety on site.
