Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking an equipment operator to manage asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines and related machinery at various job sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will perform safe operation, basic maintenance, and coordinate with the field manager to complete daily goals while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to company policies. Overnight travel is required on occasion; competitive benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of equipment operating experience.
• Related work experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates one or more types of construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Discusses daily plans with field manager and sets safe, productive methods.
• Performs physical duties and routine maintenance like cleaning and greasing.
• Maintains clear communication with crew to meet daily goals.
