Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an experienced construction equipment operator in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will operate asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, and related gear, focusing on safety and productive performance on milling and paving projects.

You will work with field managers, perform routine maintenance, handle heavy physical tasks, and may travel overnight. Night and weekend work during milling season is common; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• GED / HS Diploma is a plus.
• 2 years of equipment operating experience is required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must have good hand-foot-eye coordination for safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment safely and perform basic maintenance.
• Discuss daily plans with field manager and plan safe, productive work.
• Perform physical duties related to equipment operation.
• Clean, grease, and check fluid levels of equipment.
• Prioritize safety for all workers around equipment.
• Communicate clearly with crew to meet daily goals.
