Job summary

APAC Central Inc. is seeking a Skilled Laborer to join the Asphalt and Concrete team on construction projects. You will perform a range of tasks from shoveling and material handling to operating small tools, under supervision, ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to travel, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Night and weekend shifts may be required, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and using tools properly.
• Assist with shoveling, raking, material transport, and signaling equipment operators.
• Excavate, distribute, and level construction materials as required.
• Help set up and remove traffic control devices and maintain project quality.
• Follow directions from foreman and supervisors to meet project goals.
