Job summary

U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. is hiring a skilled Paver Operator to operate asphalt paving equipment on road and parking lot projects. You will run pavers, rollers, skid steers, and compactors with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will work with a paving crew to ensure even asphalt distribution, proper compaction, and a smooth finish, while following project specs and company policies. Prior heavy equipment experience and a commitment to reliability are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating paving or heavy equipment preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• CDL license is a plus but not required
• Ability to pass a drug test and adhere to safety standards
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including mini excavators, pavers, skid steers and forklifts depending on the project needs
• Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and report issues promptly
• Load, unload, and position equipment safely on job sites

• Follow grade markers and layout specifications to achieve desired slope and thickness
• Maintain control of speed, feed, and depth of material application
• Assist with handwork or labor duties when equipment is not in use
• Comply with all safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and company policies
• Communicate clearly with crew members and foreman during paving operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Summary -
We are hiring a skilled Paver Operator to operate machinery used in the construction and maintenance of asphalt roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This role requires safe and efficient operation of paving equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, skid steers, and compactors. The ideal candidate has experience in road construction, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities -

• Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including Mini excavators, Pavers, Skid steers and Forklifts depending on the project needs
