Job Overview

As a Paver Operator at CL Construction, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our paver machines to ensure their efficiency and longevity. Your role will involve ensuring the quality and precision of paving operations contributing to the overall success of our paving projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for all tasks related to running the paver machine including setup, cleaning, basic maintenance, and general care of the machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Frequently the first on site and last to leave to ensure the machine is prepared for operation the following morning and cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day.
• Focus on the full breadth of paving operations addressing concerns proactively without direction.
• Integral role in maintaining the equipment, including understanding its mechanical workings.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience working around a slipform paver (1 year or more of operator experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of the mechanical functionality of a slipform paver.
• Experience working with, in front of, or behind a slipform paver.
• Basic knowledge of all aspects of concrete paving operations, both mechanical and manual.
