Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is seeking a Paver Installer Crew Lead to organize and lead a work crew installing and maintaining pavers, bricks, and tile for driveways, walls and features. You will prepare sites, measure, excavate, and lay materials following blueprints, ensuring precise layout and safe work practices.

The role requires 3+ years in paver installations and leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paver installation and repair experience.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, measures, and excavates site for construction or repair of pavers, bricks, tile and concrete for walkways, curbs, driveways, patios, fountains and other structures according to plans.
• Prepares ground base by compacting calculated depth or crushed stone or incorporating and tilling cement with soil, mechanically vibrating the aggregate base for compaction and assures base slopes according to plan.
• Applies and screeds sand at selected height over compacted base according to plans.
• Establishes starting square, lays pavers, bricks and tile and minimizes gaps with tapping according to plan.
• Prepares, cuts and installs pavers, bricks and tile where needed.
• Retrains edges of finished layout with selected materials.
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE
• Operate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely
