Flexible Pavements of Ohio (FPO) seeks a Pavements & Materials Engineer/Technician to support Southern & Southwest Ohio. Regional and out of state travel is required.

The candidate should have a working knowledge of pavement design and construction, strong communication skills, and be able to provide technical guidance to members, agencies, and committees. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Qualificações

• Proficient in MS Office and web-based tools.
• Detail oriented with strong customer focus.
• Working knowledge of pavement design and construction including mixture types, thickness design, and maintenance.
• Registration in Ohio as a Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Relevant work experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates technical information and assistance to FPO members, public and private pavement owners through written documentation, oral presentations, and in person events.
• Performs field assessments including onsite project review, pre-construction asphalt design and mixture recommendations and post construction evaluation.
• Represents the interests of the industry before state, federal, and local government agencies and affiliated industry committees and associations.
• Develops training, provides instruction and technical presentations.
• Assists in developing written technical publications and articles.
