Responsibilities
  1. Influences the financial performance of a project by monitoring scheduling, forecasting, and cost control efforts.
  2. Identifies and mitigates risks to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  3. Conducts regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  4. Collaborates with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and address changes.
  5. Communicates risks, status, etc., in project review meetings.
  6. Drives the pursuit of claims and change orders; tracks and reports progress.
  7. Oversees procurement or buy-out processes to ensure adherence to budget.
  8. Ensures development and use of a CPM schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Manages project contracts to review, address, and resolve contractual issues and claims.
  10. Establishes and promotes a safety culture.
  11. Manages relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  12. Ensures subcontractors and suppliers are closely managed.
  13. Mentors, coaches, provides feedback, and evaluates employee performance.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy civil construction project management

Physical Requirements

Field/Operations Office: Ability to sit for extended periods, handle and manipulate small objects, support body for long durations, and traverse construction sites. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in noisy environments. Vision and speech abilities required.
