Job summary

New York City Department of Transportation is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead pavement markings projects across the five boroughs. You will coordinate contractor installations, monitor schedules, and ensure markings are maintained in a state of good repair.

The role requires strong project management and communication skills, familiarity with ArcGIS and MS Office, and a NYS driver license. Remote work up to 2 days/week may be available under the NYC Remote Work Pilot Program.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time satisfactory experience managing and/or inspecting construction projects with total cost at least $300,000 per project.
• Driver license valid in New York State required and must be maintained.
• Possession of or eligibility for professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pavement markings contracts and related assets across multiple boroughs.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedules, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Develop and improve operational processes, quality control, and data management within agency systems.
