Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Pavement Marking Technician II to drive and operate pavement marking equipment on road construction and maintenance projects.

The role includes cross-training with Traffic Control and Pavement Marking teams, ensuring precise application of road markings, safety compliance, and proper equipment maintenance. Candidates should be able to work in varying weather conditions and follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass background check and MVR.
• Must pass drug test and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment and apply paint, thermoplastic, and other markings.
• Prepare work areas, transport materials, and drive company trucks for job sites.
• Implement striping plans, layout intersections, and ensure markings meet specs.
• Maintain and repair equipment; perform shop tasks as needed.
• Communicate with contractors, inspectors, and field personnel; complete daily paperwork.
