Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is hiring Pavement Marking Field Associates to join our highway striping team. The role supports safety-focused operations, requiring maintenance of spray systems and other equipment, with adherence to DOT rules and quality standards.

Applicants should be able to operate multiple tools, pass background checks, and work flexible shifts with travel as needed. We value leadership, teamwork, and resilience in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Maintain background checks including driving record and substance testing as required.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements and safety policies for field operations.
• Ability to operate and maintain multiple pavement-marking tools and spray equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain spray systems and other truck-mounted equipment daily.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms accurately.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines.
• Maximize production while adhering to safety policies.

Requirements

• Equipment and vehicle repair reports (filled out by crew members)
• Responsible for making sure all work is done and completed in compliance with DOT and quality
• guidelines
• Make sure vehicles are in working order (spray systems and/or other truck mounted equipment) and properly loaded each and every day; make sure vehicles are kept clean and neat inside and out
• Make sure pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms are filled out properly
• Maximize production on job
• Be trained and able to operate and maintain at least 6 different pieces of equipment

Experience (Preferred but not required)

• Be able to operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines, forklift,
• hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart
• Be able to Install Preformed Thermo/ Hot Tape

Qualifications

• Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use smart phone and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
• Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles
• Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud

Availability

• 2 Shifts
• Monday - Friday
• Sunday- Thursdays
• Must be able to work some nights and weekends
• Must be able to work overtime
• Must be able to travel with company when necessary
