Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC in Texas is seeking Pavement Marking Field Associates to join our highway striping team, supporting safety and precision on roadways.

This role requires readiness for background checks, MVR, and drug testing, with shifts Monday–Friday and some nights/weekends; travel may be involved as needed.

Applicants should value teamwork, safety, and reliability, and be prepared to operate multiple pieces of equipment and maintain vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Background checks, MVR, and controlled substance testing required prior to hire
• DOT safety guidelines adherence and quality compliance
• Operate and maintain multiple striping-related equipment
• Keep vehicles clean and in good working order
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment and vehicle reports
• Ensure all work complies with DOT and quality guidelines
• Operate and maintain spray systems and other truck-mounted tools
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maximize productivity on assigned jobs
• Be trained to operate at least 6 different pieces of equipment

Requirements

• Equipment and vehicle repair reports (filled out by crew members)
• Responsible for making sure all work is done and completed in compliance with DOT and quality
• guidelines
• Make sure vehicles are in working order (spray systems and/or other truck mounted equipment) and properly loaded each and every day; make sure vehicles are kept clean and neat inside and out
• Make sure pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms are filled out properly
• Maximize production on job
• Be trained and able to operate and maintain at least 6 different pieces of equipment

Experience (Preferred but not required)

• Be able to operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines, forklift,
• hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart
• Be able to Install Preformed Thermo/ Hot Tape

Qualifications

• Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use smart phone and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
• Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles
• Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud

Availability

• 2 Shifts
• Monday - Friday
• Sunday- Thursdays
• Must be able to work some nights and weekends
• Must be able to work overtime
• Must be able to travel with company when necessary
