Qualifications

• Must have: BS in Civil Engineering with coursework or interest in pavement engineering.
• 0 to 10+ years of pavement-related experience.
• Hands-on field experience (FWD, GPR, DCP, PCI surveys, etc.) a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MicroPAVER, StreetSaver, and GPR processing software (e.g., RADAN).
• EIT certification or California PE license preferred.
• Master's in Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pavement condition evaluations, field investigations, and testing.
• Perform PCI surveys and support pavement management plans.
• Analyze pavement data and contribute to technical reports.
• Design pavement sections (new and rehabilitated, flexible and rigid).
• Support or manage construction observation and materials testing.
• Participate in forensic assessments and develop corrective recommendations.
• Use AutoCAD, GIS, and pavement software for design, analysis, and mapping.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• Manage projects, proposals, budgets, and schedules as applicable.
