Job summary

Acuren is seeking a PAUT Technician to support the Duke Cayuga program in an embedded role. The position is on-site in Indianapolis, with regular full-time hours and a focus on safety and quality in NDT testing.

Responsibilities include conducting PAUT/NDT inspections, developing examination techniques, reviewing data, and preparing comprehensive project reports. Some supervisory duties may be required as experience allows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NDT methods experience required.
• Current NDT certifications (UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Develop examination techniques in accordance with specs and safety regulations.
• Evaluate results against criteria and standards.
• Identify and manage risk on client engagements; escalate as needed to protect schedule and quality.
• Review inspection data and prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections and may supervise others.
