Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. seeks a PAUT/QUPA Technician for an embedded, on-site role in Monaca, PA.

The candidate will perform NDT testing and develop techniques for customer approval, with responsibilities spanning inspection execution, reporting, and on-site collaboration. Required are five years of NDT experience, current certifications in UT/UTPA/PAUT/CR/DR, and the ability to interface with clients and supervise others as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in NDT tasks and interpretation of inspection results.
• Current NDT certifications in UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and procedures.
• Must develop techniques for customer approval and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using specified NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques with safety compliance in mind.
• Apply testing criteria per applicable standards and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate risk on client engagements to protect quality and schedule.
• Review asset documentation and inspection data; manage NDE activities.
• Complete integrity assessments and site walkdowns as required.
• Prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections as needed.
