Job summary

Acuren Inc. seeks a PAUT Technician to support the Duke Cayuga project on a embedded role for 3 years, averaging 40/50 hours weekly. The position requires deep NDT expertise and the ability to develop techniques approved by clients. You may supervise others and interface with customers on schedules and problem solving.

Ideal candidates will have current NDT certifications and a strong background in ASME/API standards for equipment evaluation. Travel may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Five years experience in NDT methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests using NDT methods to detect defects.
• Establish techniques for proper examination per standards.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect quality, budget, and timeline.
• Review asset documents and inspection data.
• Complete integrity assessments including site walkdowns when required.
• Prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• Develop techniques for customer certifier approval.
