Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. has an immediate need for a Level II PAUT Technician local to Austin, TX or surrounding areas for a full-time position. Must be willing to travel ~50% of the time.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Set up and calibrate equipment; Conduct tests with Phased Array NDT; Interpret, evaluate and document results. Must be familiar with codes and control methods; travel 50%+; supervise trainees.

Qualifications

• Level II PAUT (manual and encoded PAUT) required.
• Level II AUT required.
• Level II MT, PT required.
• Level II VT or API 570 preferred.
• Graduate of NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for PAUT.
• Prior Level II certification on PAUT/UTS/W required.
• High School diploma required.
• TWIC required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with Phased Array NDT technique.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
