Job summary

Intertek in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time PAUT Level II Technician to join our Asset Integrity Management team. The role involves phased array ultrasonic testing of materials and welds and requires travel for project work.

Minimum 5–7 years in advanced UT methods (PAUT), prior Level II certification, and API QUPA/QUTE or ISO certifications are required. Valid driver’s license and TWIC, along with fluent English, are also essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in Advanced UT methods, including Phased Array.
• Prior Level II certification.
• API QUPA and API QUTE certifications or ISO Thickness, ISQ Shear Wave and ISQ Phased Array certifications.
• Valid Driver's License and TWIC.
• Fluent in English; MS Office skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Using phased array ultrasonic testing to inspect materials and welds.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; interpret results per codes and standards.
• Mentor trainees and support NDE Level I personnel on the job.
• Organize and report results of assigned NDT tasks.
