Job summary

Xcel NDT LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks a Level II PAUT Technician w/UTSW to perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations ensuring acceptance or rejection per codes and specs. You will set up PAUT equipment, interpret results, and maintain records.

The role requires Level II PAUT certification and offers training leadership to Assistants and Level I Technicians, with potential RT/MT/PT/UTT certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II PAUT certification is required.
• Additional NDT Level II certifications in RT, MT, PT and/or UTT are preferred.
• Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Proven ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate PAUT and other nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality and detect discontinuities using approved NDT methods.
• Establish proper examination techniques, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Apply inspection criteria per applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret readings from digital displays, radiographs, conductivity meters, or other indicators.
• Organize, document, and report test results accurately.
• Perform specialized inspections as required.
• Provide training and supervision to Assistants and Level I Technicians.
• Complete other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
