24 Seven Talent is seeking an experienced 1st Through Production Patternmaker in Vernon, CA to join our Ready-to-Wear team. You will create first patterns reflecting brand aesthetics, fit standards, and construction requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of patternmaking experience in women’s Ready-to-Wear (RTW).
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and fabrication.
• Experience creating first patterns from concept through production.
• Proficiency in Gerber, Optitex, CLO, or comparable CAD software.
• Ability to manage multiple development timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create first patterns from sketches, technical flats, measurements, and design direction.
• Develop patterns for a range of RTW categories, including wovens, knits, dresses, tailoring, denim, and outerwear as needed.
• Attend fittings and collaborate with Technical Design to evaluate fit, balance, proportion, and construction.
• Make pattern corrections following fittings and maintain clear pattern documentation.
• Partner with Design and Product Development to ensure garments are aligned with the intended silhouette, fabric, and cost expectations.
• Advise on construction methods, fabric behavior, and pattern feasibility throughout development.
• Prepare patterns for grading, production handoff, and communication with factories and vendors.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and version control across all patterns and supporting materials.
