Job summary

STAUD Clothing, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking a Director of Pattern & Print Design to lead print, graphic, and illustration direction across RTW and Accessories from concept to production.

You will collaborate with design leaders, manage a high-output studio, and oversee workflow, strike-offs, lab dips, and colorways, ensuring cohesive, on-brand prints that elevate the collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fashion-, textile-, or illustration-related field.
• 8+ years in print, textile, or graphic design within fashion or apparel.
• Strong leadership and high taste level with a confident point of view on print direction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Experience with overseas mills, printers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own seasonal print and graphic direction for RTW and Accessories across collections.
• Set creative vision for original artwork, prints, and graphics using analog and digital methods.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align print concepts with collection direction.
• Oversee print/illustration workflow, handoffs, and production-ready files.
• Present concepts and final art to Creative Director and leadership with clarity.
