Job summary

STAUD, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking an Associate Designer for Accessories & Leather Goods to support the seasonal design development from concept to delivery. Based in Los Angeles, you will work closely with the Senior Designer and Head of Design.

You will pull samples, build decks, assemble presentation boards, realize mock-ups, color-ups, and CADs. You will also be responsible for creating precise tech packs and maintaining organized design files and line-sheets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of fashion design experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Fashion Design preferred.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience creating print repeats preferred.
• Google Drive knowledge a plus.
• Experience in creating technical drawings.
• Passion and eye for design.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, must be able to multi-task, prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• CADs across Accessories and Leather goods.
• Support Senior Designer in creating and updating Adobe Illustrator sketches; creating and updating design boards and line-sheets.
• Sample management; organize, track, and store all samples. Setting up and breaking down samples and prototypes for meetings.
• Maintain tidiness and organization of the design room, as well as the department’s digital drive.
• Assists Design team with and send outs (tracking, sending, receiving, etc.)
• Builds precise tech packs and works closely with the Product Development team to ensure that all tech packs issued are clear and up to standard.
