Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a pattern digitizer to convert current and future furniture patterns for automated cutting machines. You will generate markers using Gerber and Z1 Accumark, work with the cutting supervisor on schedules, and compile tracking data like marker lengths, material usage, and bundle codes.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years of cutting/digitizing patterns, experience with Accumark, and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for furniture patterns.
• Coordinate with the cutting supervisor to manage the production schedule.
• Create tracking data for marker packages (marker length/width, material usage, piece counts, bundle codes).
• Provide updated models/markers when pattern revisions occur.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

POSITION DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE

Digitize current and future furniture patterns for automated cutting machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for furniture patterns; work closely with the cutting supervisor to manage day‑to‑day issues associated with the production schedule; generate tracking data to accompany marker packages, such as data markers including marker length and width, material usage, piece counts, and bundle codes where required. Provide updated models and/or markers when design revisions are made to patterns. Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience – 3+ years cutting/digitizing patterns.

Preferred – Experience in furniture manufacturing. Experience with Accumark software.

Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong computer skills, strong communication skills, team player, reliable, able to work with minimum supervision, own reliable transportation, willing to work weekends and overtime, strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking and writing in English.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs. Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day; some standing and walking is required. Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled. Must have good vision. Must wear required PPE of safety glasses and close‑toed shoes when required. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
