Job summary

Jefferson County Public Library in Wheat Ridge seeks a Part-Time Patron Experience Associate to deliver frontline customer service, help patrons find information, and encourage engagement with library resources.

You will work with a team to create a welcoming, inclusive space and support programs and outreach efforts. Eligible for benefits as a part-time employee, you must have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Public library customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides information, referrals and reader’s advisory assistance to patrons in person, by phone, mail and via electronic means.
• Locates materials using manual and electronic databases and assists patrons with online searching.
• Promotes and presents programs, classes, and workshops in the library or off-site; conducts tours and outreach.
