Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to protect people and property across sites such as retail stores, airports, and detention facilities.

The role requires physical stamina, keen observation, and the ability to react quickly. First shift 7:00am-3:00pm, full-time (32 hours/week) with comprehensive benefits and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• First aid certification is an asset
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• 21 years of age or older; security experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a valid driver's license
• You have reliable transportation
• You are 21 years of age or older
• You have prior security experience.
• You have a valid security license and/or can obtain one.
• CPR is a plus!
