Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of 3+ years.
• Active unarmed DC Security License.
• Must be 21+ years old or older.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service as a priority.
• Observe and report activity at assigned location.
• Respond rapidly to critical situations.
• Document detailed reports accurately.
• Enforce procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Stand for 8+ hours.
• Patrol designated areas and identify suspicious activity.

• Check alarms and cameras for proper operation.

• Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What's in it for you:

• Looking to hire 2 candidates to work the weekends. All Saturdays and Sundays 3pm to 11pm. Also 10pm to 6am shift. Holidays may be required to work as well. Candidates must be comfortable with a Hospital setting..
• Competitive hourly wage starting at $24.75/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You are good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Must stand 8+ hours!
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 3 years or more
• You have an active unarmed DC Security License
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements,
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive background and drug screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
