Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Clifton Hill, MO. The position involves driving to safeguard clients across industries, performing routine patrols, monitoring access, and maintaining a strong customer-service presence.

The role requires at least 1 year in security, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Compensation is $17.00 per hour, with full-time day to night shifts across a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and reporting access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalating concerns as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
