Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and directing authorized personnel and drivers according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
