Job summary

Allied Universal in Friendly, WV is seeking a Security Officer Badge Control Driver to serve clients across industries and maintain site access with professionalism. The role involves verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, handling alarms, patrolling areas, and reporting incidents.

You will be present on site, providing dependable customer service and using technology to document activity. Pre-Employment requirements include a valid driver's license and 1 year driving experience.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and vehicle access records.
Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, the business, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Report security-related observations, incidents, and irregularities promptly and accurately to appropriate personnel.
