Job summary

Allied Universal, East Wenatchee, WA, is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across multiple industries, including a data center setting. This unarmed position requires a valid driver's license, a customer-service mindset, and a visible, proactive security presence.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor entrances, support access control, and respond to incidents while upholding Allied Universal's culture of integrity, reliability, and service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific access control requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
