Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will conduct routine patrols, uphold safety protocols, and deliver friendly, professional service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, documenting activities, and responding to emergencies while maintaining a visible security presence and customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping/receiving zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization; document visitor, vehicle, and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events per emergency procedures.
• Report security concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations to site leadership.
