Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce laws; maintain visibility and assist the public.
• Respond to emergencies, secure scenes, direct traffic, and assist medical personnel when needed.
• Monitor traffic, enforce laws, issue citations, and manage detours during events or incidents.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with time, location, and involved persons using a computer.
• Stop fights and mediate disputes; apprehend suspects with appropriate force as necessary.
• Assist in investigations, interrogations, collecting evidence, and serving papers.
