Job summary

Global Protection & Investigations is seeking a dedicated Patrol Officer to join our security team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves visible security presence, protecting people, property and client assets across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and professional interaction with clients and law enforcement. Prior security or related experience is preferred, and flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays are available.

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card (BSIS Security Officer License) required.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular standing and mobile patrols of assigned posts and client properties.
• Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secured areas.
• Deter, detect, and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or security threats.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established protocols.
• Write detailed, accurate incident reports and maintain a daily activity log.
• Enforce client site rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and client personnel as needed.
