The City of Chaska seeks a full-time Patrol Officer to join a modern Police Department serving a community of about 30,000. Eligibility includes MN POST licensure by March 1, 2027, with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

The role offers field training, multi-shift opportunities, and opportunities for specialized pay and wellness programs. Starting wage ranges from $43.17 to $53.10 hourly, with annual compensation reflecting experience, plus a signing bonus of $5,000 and various leave

Formación

• Requires MN POST licensure or eligibility by March 1, 2027.
• Associates degree in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice or related field.
• Valid MN driver's license or ability to obtain by hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Enforces laws and City codes to provide public safety.
• Responds to service calls, patrols, investigates activities, and makes arrests.
• Interacts with residents and other departments to maintain peace.
• Provides public safety services such as EMS coordination, traffic control, and missing persons.
• Conducts field training for new officers when assigned.
• Provides information to the public and fosters relationships with businesses and residents.
• Follows CPD policies and procedures.
