Job summary

The City of Chaska invites applications for a full-time patrol officer. MN POST licensed or eligible by March 1, 2027 is required. Starting wage is $43.17-$53.10 per hour with an annualized range of about $89,793-$110,448, plus a $5,000 signing bonus. Lateral hires may receive enhanced leave and higher base pay; top pay reaches $58.94/hr.

Qualifications

• Minnesota POST licensed or eligible for licensure by March 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Enforces laws and City codes to provide for public safety.
• Responds to calls, patrols, investigates, interviews, and reports.
• Interacts with residents and other agencies to maintain peace and safety.
