  • Basic knowledge of security and law enforcement practices.
  • Able to produce concise, accurate and well written reports.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver's license.
  • CPR Certificate/First Responder Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general law enforcement duties in the protection of persons and property; enforcing applicable policies, rules and regulations of Cambridge Health Alliance and applicable federal, state and local laws, to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents.
  • Investigates crimes and other violations of Massachusetts laws and ordinances.
  • Makes arrests and sets up appropriate complaints for the courts for those in violation of the law.
  • Assists in the escorting of deceased patients.
  • Observe and detain patients who are in crisis and deemed in need of special services.
  • Investigates individuals or situations that appear to be of a suspicious nature.
  • Provides safety escorts as needed
  • Provides for the safety and security of all patients, visitors and staff.

Job Details:
