Job summary

MaineGuide in Bath, ME is seeking a Patrol Officer to provide armed security for BIW facilities and support risk mitigation. This role requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance and US citizenship. You will work fixed posts, waterborne assignments, and walking checks, with weekend/holiday shifts.

Applicants must pass medical and psychological review and maintain logs. High school diploma or GED is required; prior police/security experience and firearm duties preferred; secret

Job Description

The pay range for this position ranges from $23.28/hr - $26.34/hr.

As a Patrol Officer you will provide armed security for all BIW facilities.

Follow all company and department operating procedures.

Write incident reports and maintain logs.

Must be able to work fixed posts, waterborne assignments and conduct walking checks of facilities.

This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire. For more information regarding the security clearance process, please visit

Required/Preferred Education/Training

• High school diploma or GED required.

Required/Preferred Experience

• Police or security-related training preferred.

• Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties required.
