Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of POST approved California Law Enforcement Training Academy and successful appraisal by Police Management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service regarding accidents, crimes, threats, alterations and/or request for aid.
• Patrol assigned area to maintain law and order.
• Investigate unusual or suspicious conditions.
• Make arrests and testify in court when required.
• Administer first aid and secure scenes.
• Prepare clear, concise reports of incidents and cases.
• Provide information to the public regarding laws and ordinances.
