Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking unarmed Security Officers to patrol properties, assist guests, and maintain a visible, approachable presence.

You will respond to disturbances, monitor CCTV, complete incident reports, and enforce safety rules. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+, clean driving record, English fluency, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and willingness to work weekends and holidays. Starting wage $15.00–$16.40 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or customer-facing role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions including lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and maintain a visible presence.
• Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, or suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with the surveillance team to monitor CCTV systems.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity reports.
• Conduct routine checks of doors, lighting, and safety equipment.
• Promote safety procedures to guests and staff.
• Use communication skills to de-escalate conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.
