Job summary

Titan Security Group in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking unarmed Security Officers to join our team. You will perform regular patrols, assist guests with directions, monitor CCTV with the security team, and respond promptly to disturbances or emergencies to help keep properties secure.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand or walk for long periods outdoors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or a customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be available for weekends, and holidays.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests, offering directions, answering questions, and creating a visible, approachable presence to enhance the overall visitor experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, medical situations, or suspicious activity. Initiate appropriate action and coordinate with local authorities or emergency services as needed.
• Collaborate with the surveillance team to monitor CCTV systems and report irregular activities or safety concerns.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity reports, including logs of patrol rounds, observed hazards, and guest interactions.
• Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, lighting, and fire safety equipment to ensure all facilities are secure and operational.
• Promote awareness of property rules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures to guests and staff.
• Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to peacefully manage difficult situations or disputes between guests, vendors, or staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
