Job summary

Allied Universal in Streator, IL seeks a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role to provide security and customer service at a manufacturing location. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and maintain access control with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years old, and a background/drug screen per policy. Full-time shifts include day and night rotations at a driving post.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing depends on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors during security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document observations, patrols, and incidents using required reporting tools.
