Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Verify authorized access and maintain visitor/vehicle/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report to supervisors and site contacts as required.
• Deter unauthorized activity through professional presence and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify supervisors, emergency services, and/or designated site contacts as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
