Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA. This full-time unarmed patrol role requires providing customer service, patrolling facilities, and maintaining logs while adhering to post orders.

The position requires a valid driver's license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating courteously with the public and supporting a welcoming environment at assigned locations.
