Job summary

Surefire Security in the Bay Area seeks a Patrol Driver to operate a marked patrol vehicle on multi-site routes—storage facilities, industrial parks, apartment communities, and construction sites. You will perform randomized patrols with visible deterrence, log rounds, and respond to alarms.

Primarily overnight shifts (10pm–6am) with some evenings; full-time and part-time options. Must be 21+, hold a California driver license with a clean 3-year record, and be comfortable driving in all weather.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable driving overnight and in all weather.
• Self-directed – you work independently on route.
• Smartphone for GPS check-in and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned patrol route in marked company vehicle.
• Conduct documented property checks at each site – walk the property, check doors, gates, lighting, and fence lines.
• Log every stop with timestamp and observations via mobile app.
• Respond to alarm dispatches and client call-outs within your route.
• Report hazards, incidents, and anomalies immediately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete pre/post-shift vehicle inspection.

Job description

Patrol Driver - Surefire Security, Bay Area. Operate a marked Surefire patrol vehicle across multi-site routes - storage facilities, industrial parks, apartment communities, construction sites. Randomized patrol timing, visible deterrent presence, documented rounds at every stop. California PPO 121780.

Pay

$21-$27/hour plus vehicle provided. Overnight differential applies to most patrol routes.

What You’ll Do
