Job summary

Surefire Security is seeking a Field Supervisor to manage security officers across client sites in the Bay Area, including Fremont, CA. You will supervise, assess post orders, handle client escalations, and develop officers for promotion, with a leadership track toward operations management.

Position includes a pay range of $28–$36 per hour plus a company vehicle and performance bonuses tied to client retention and officer development. Full-time, on-site schedule with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years security experience, at least 1 in a lead or senior officer role.
• Valid California driver license with clean record.
• Strong written communication — you review and write reports.
• Calm under pressure; experienced with client-facing escalations.
• Available for on-call rotation.
• Exposed Firearms Permit a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced site checks across assigned client portfolio
• Verify officer attendance, appearance, and post-order compliance
• Serve as first escalation point for client concerns and officer issues
• Cover posts during officer callouts when no replacement is available
• Onboard new officers to assigned sites — walk-throughs, post order review, shadowing
• Review and approve Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
• Contribute to monthly client reports
• Identify officers ready for advancement
