Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers seeks a Lead Police Officer (Desk/Patrol Sergeant) to supervise the patrol shift, assist the Watch Commander, and guide Field Training Officers and trainees in enforcing laws and department procedures.

You will balance workloads, monitor communications, and ensure security across assigned areas while preparing schedules and maintaining compliance with federal regulations.

Formación

• Specialized experience planning watch activities and directing patrols.
• Experience instructing field training officers and maintaining leadership oversight.
• Knowledge of basic laws, regulations, and enforcement practices.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise patrol shift and assist Watch Commander in daily operations.
• Instruct trainees and officers; provide written guidance and materials.
• Provide technical guidance on enforcement of laws and regulations.
• Inspect security posture of areas and recommend corrective actions.
• Balance workload among officers and ensure tasks meet department guidelines.
• Prepare absentee reports and watch schedules for the next day.
• Oversee radio communications compliance with DoD/DoN/USMC/FCC rules.
• Coordinate dispatch of units to incidents and monitor response.
